2020 BMES Gala Derby Will Be Taking Place in Fall!
After careful consideration, the gala has once again been moved to the fall. The Gala Team has been in constant communication with the venue (which will not be changing) and it is definitely for best reason (health, safety and general interest) to reschedule our event. We are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 14th. We will have the option to reevaluate and postpone to spring 2021 if November is still not seeming like the best option, as this is such a big event for BMES. Stay tuned for updates, do not hesitate to reach out to anyone on the Gala Team for information, and if you have already purchased a ticket to the event and you would like to receive a refund for whatever reason, please let us know and we will provide that to you immediately. (Otherwise your ticket will be valid for whenever the gala takes place!)
Thank you for your support! The Gala Team!

BMES PTA is looking for caring parents to get involved on the Executive Board for the 2020-21 academic year!  We need energetic and organized individuals to serve in leadership positions on the board and as committee chairpersons.  Some of these positions include: Managing the Garden Club, Book Fair, Musical, Differences Day, as well as several openings on the Board. What does the board do?  The board’s job is to plan, coordinate, and execute student activities and programs outside of the core academic curriculum.  This would include Barlow Boogie, School Photos, Young Writers Conference, Yearbook, Social activities, etc. This is YOUR PTA, serving YOUR children.  Every parent can get involved, regardless of how much you know about BMES, and it makes a HUGE difference!  Help make 2020-21 an awesome year for our children and our school.  If you are interested in serving next year, please contact Erica at and we will set up a time to chat.  Thank you!
